About Sequoia Hospitality
Sequoia Development brought the first Hyatt hotel to the state of Utah. The Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Sandy was also the first new-build of the Hyatt House brand in the world. Completion of this hotel earned Sequoia Development a nomination by Hyatt as “Developer of the Year” for the Alis Award in 2008. In 2012, our Hyatt House won the prestigious “Hyatt Hotel of the Year” award. Since then, we’ve added the Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Cottonwood, the Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Lehi, and in 2017 we opened the Marriott SpringHill Suites in South Jordan, Utah.
Our goal is to develop, build, and manage our hospitality properties. We have developed and built some of the finest hotels in the Salt Lake and Utah valleys, and we believe that our management company creates a guest experience that matches the standards we have set for our physical properties.
