Sequoia Development brought the first Hyatt hotel to the state of Utah. The Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Sandy was also the prototype for the Hyatt House brand world-wide. This hotel earned Sequoia Development a nomination by Hyatt as “Developer of the Year” for the Alis Award in 2008. In 2012, our Hyatt House won the prestigious “Hyatt Hotel of the Year” award. Since then, we’ve added the Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Cottonwood and the Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Lehi. In 2017, we opened the Marriott SpringHill Suites in South Jordan, Utah.
